Clicking Save gives an effortless illusion of progress. Yet when you sit down to write or architect a tool, “I saw a link once” cannot help—only clear, tested conclusions do.
That is why raw sources and compiled wiki notes live apart: sources preserve provenance, while wiki notes must state why an idea matters, how it relates to prior beliefs, and where it applies.
Every new note should also weave backward, refining or challenging older entries. Adding files without revising understanding merely builds a neater pile.
A simple litmus test: pick three notes and answer one real question. If you cannot, refine the thinking before shopping for another note app.
